The Indian Foundation of Advanced Cardiovascular Interventions (IFACI) is a charitable trust established in 2018 with a mission to advance treatment of cardiac patients in India with a focus on most complex patients and high-risk heart diseases. IFACI is committed to the education, training, research, and innovation required to treat patients who have traditionally been considered inoperable or undertreated due to high-risk association with the severity or complexity of their cardiac conditions.
The Foundation is focused towards creating a robust and inclusive platform that brings together interventional cardiologists, researchers, allied professionals, and policymakers to improve procedural outcomes, build scientific validation, and promote scientific evidence-based exchange of knowledge and expertise in the treatment of complex cardiac and structural diseases.
CHIP-CTO India is the flagship annual scientific meeting of IFACI, launched in 2019 as a pioneering platform for advancing the field of Complex and High-Risk Indicated Procedures (CHIP) and Chronic Total Occlusions (CTO) in interventional cardiology. Conceived by Dr. Ashok Seth and the National & International renowned Course Directors, the program was envisioned to address the growing need for specialized expertise in managing high-risk coronary interventions and patients with complex comorbidities.
From its inception, CHIP-CTO India has evolved into one of the largest interventional cardiology meetings in South Asia, bringing together globally renowned experts, young interventionalists, and technology leaders to share best practices, innovations, and real-world experiences.
To be the foremost organization in transforming cardiovascular care and improving outcomes for our heart patients in India by empowering healthcare providers and patients with updated knowledge, science, expertise, indigenous research, and innovations.
